Fossil/New Gen5 Smartwatch Series Launches in India to Run on Google’s OS; 8GB storage will be available

American company Fossil has launched the Gen 5 smartwatch in the Indian market. It will run on the ware operating system of Google smartwatches. The smartwatch has a Hartrett monitor, accelerometer, gyroscope, altimeter and an ambient light sensor. Its initial price has been fixed at Rs 22,995. This series can be purchased from retail stores with Fosil India website.

  1. This watch has a 1.3-inch circular AMOLED display inside the 44mm dial. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB storage with Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform. It has a crown and two push buttons. With the help of Watch, the app can be customized to launch.
  2. It has four battery modes such as Daily, Custom, Time-only and Extended. The company claims that it gives 36 hours of backup after single charging. It provides a 7-day standby backup when kept in clock mode. It will get music streaming services, Peace of Mind and Safety app, Nunlite and Nike Run Club along with pre-installed apps. Swimproof speakers have also been provided in the watch, with the help of which phones can be received.
